Currently, there is no information that any Norwegians were among the victims in what is thought to have been a terrorist attack in Berlin on Monday.

‘We haven’t received any information indicating that any Norwegian citizens were affected. The Foreign Service are continuing efforts to monitor the situation, said press secretary, Astrid Sehl, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD) to the news agency, NTB, on Tuesday morning.

UD has worked closely with the embassy in Berlin. In a Twitter message on Monday evening, UD advized Norwegians in Berlin to follow the advice of the German authorities.

‘Please let relatives know that you are not affected’, said the German authorities. Norwegians who need assistance can also call UD.
