Norwegian Boat Rescues 43 Migrants

The crew of the Norwegian rescue vessel ‘Peter Henry von Koss’ has rescued 43 migrants from a rubber dinghy in Greece.

3 children, 10 women and 30 men were on board the dinghy. The youngest child was only eleven months old, according to Rescue Society. The rescue operation took place Saturday morning.

The migrants came from Nigeria, Congo, Dominican Republic, Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan, Iraq and Morocco.

Since July last year, the crew of “Peter Henry von Koss’ has rescued more than 5,000 people. 3400 refugees have been rescued from lifeboats.
