27 percent of people born Norwegian to immigrant parents say that they have experienced disparity in work, job search, education and health care.
They look more like the Norwegian population than their parents, according to a follow-up report of the Living Conditions Survey for Immigrants in 2016, made by Statistics Norway.
The report shows, among other things, that this generation of immigrants have less confidence in other people and they drink more alcohol than their parents did.
Norwegians born to immigrant parents also have higher participation in higher education than both immigrants and the general population.
The group consists of Norwegian born, in the ages 16 to 39 with parents from Pakistan, Vietnam, Turkey and Sri Lanka.
