Norwegian has signed an agreement with all regional health authorities in Norway, making the airline the first choice for patients traveling on 13 of the main domestic routes in Norway.
The agreement takes effect on April 1 and will last for four years. The health trusts fly domestically in Norway for about 350 million annually, Norwegian writes in a statement this Thursday morning.
– We are very pleased that the health authorities have chosen Norwegian for a significant number of patients and business travel, sales director Lars Sande in Norwegian says.
Owner Director of Health North, Hilde Rolandsen, said that good conditions are very important to them.
– Flexibility and the lowest possible travel costs are very important both for our patient travel and our business travel, she says.
