Norwegian enters into the new airline alliance Airlines for Europe along with, among others, Ryanair.
Other companies in the alliance include Air France-KLM, EasyJet, IAG Group and Lufthansa Group, said Norwegian.
– Norwegian has always supported competition in the aviation industry , because it will lead to cheaper fares f and more options for people travelling by plane. Our Membership in Airlines of Europe is important because the alliance brings together the common challenges and opportunities of industry across national borders and companies, says CEO Bjorn Kjos.
– Airlines for Europe will be representing the interests of all the European airlines. We’re going to get more members in the times to come, and together we will fight to promote measures that increase the competitiveness of the airlines, which will in turn lead to cheaper tickets and more options for the passengers.
