A Norwegian man, originally from Thailand, has been convicted of inciting a woman in Thailand to sexually abuse his twelve year old son, according to a Danish newspaper.
The man  has been sentenced to a six-month suspended sentence in Næstved in Denmark, the newspaper Sjælland Næstved writes .

The reason that the trial has taken place in Denmark is that the boy’s mother is residing there. The 41-year old man lives in Norway.
– Although the relationship has taken place in Thailand, we can prosecute it here if it is sufficiently serious,  prosecutor Anne Marie Flink told the newspaper.
It’s been five years since the holiday in Pattaya when the sexual abuses were committed, and the boy was then twelve years old. Danish police have failed to find the Thai woman who repeatedly performed sexual acts on the twelve year old boy.
However, another Thai woman, who lives in Sweden, was also on trial and was sentenced to 60 days suspended sentence for having had one sexual intercourse with the boy.
Both the father and the boy’s one year younger sister is said to have been present when the sexual abuse happened. The two children, who today are 16 and 17 years old, testified behind closed doors at the trial last week.
