One in five Danish women between 12 and 25 years said they are not satisfied with their lives, according to a new survey.
48,000 young people have answered the so-called Youth Profile survey from 2015. The leader in Danske Schoolchildren Organization, Jens Vase, saying it is the responsibility of the schools and the adults to ensure that young people thrive.
– I believe that schools are responsible for students’ well-being, considering how long we go to school. Many schools work well with the theme but this suggests that efforts could be better, says Vase.
In the age group 12 to 13 or older 17 percent of the girls answered that they are not content with life. The percentage increases with age, and 28 percent of women between 19 and 25 years responds the same.
