The woman was found to have died from starvation in autumn, 2015.

‘This is a tragic and painful issue for everyone, especially for the relatives. We take responsibility for what has happened. Still, I want to emphasize that all residents of the borough of Ullern should feel confident that they will receive proper health care when they need it’, said the district director (bydelsdirektør), Marie Anbjørg Joten, in Ullern.

The municipality is willing to accept the fine, which was issued in August, but is in discussions with the police about the amount.
