A person is being charged with manslaughter after a person was found dead in a home in Lyngdal late Sunday night, police said.
– An asylum seeker lives on the address where the fallen bodies were found, says Torrey Nørsett, which operates a decentralized reception centers in Lyngdal to the newspaper Fædrelandsvennen.
Police received a notification 23.39 about an injured person in a residence in Lyngdal. When they arrived at the place, the person was dead, said Agder Police.
The now manslaughter-accused person was arrested on the spot.
– The arrested is charged with manslaughter, said acting detective chief in Agder Police Cecilie Pedersen Hille,
She did not want to say anything about the gender and age of the killed and the accused.
Nor anything about how the police were familiar with the matter. The accused has not given evidence to the police. Crime Technicians from the police are investigating the scene Monday morning.
Police in Agder are organizing a press conference about the murder at 15 Monday afternoon.
