A 22-year-old Swedish man who in May last year reported that he had been robbed of his Porsche Cayenne, wass indicted for insurance fraud.
According to the indictment, he filed false information to the police in 6:30 in the morning on Tuesday the 19th of May in 2015.
He stated then that his Porsche Cayenne with Swedish registration was stolen from him.
Later that day, police found the car in Mjærvannet a body of water at Ytre Enebakk.
According to police, the 22-year-old drove the luxury car into the water at 5am to make it unusable, so that he would be paid a sum of 115,000 Swedish kronor.
The man must attend Oslo District Court on Wedesday.
