The police are considering whether the Norwegian royal family should attend the Swedish king’s 70th birthday this weekend after the reports of terrorist threats against Stockholm, NRK news reported.

Both King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Märtha Louise and Ari Behn are scheduled to be present when the Swedish King Carl Gustaf celebrates his 70th birthday in Stockholm at the weekend.
On Tuesday morning, there were reports that the Swedish Security Police (SAPO) had received information that seven to eight IS members are in Sweden to carry out a terrorist attack.
– We are in contact with Swedish and Norwegian authorities and assess the situation on an ongoing basis,  press officer Unni Grondahl in Oslo police says to NRK.
