A policeman who was with his family at IKEA in Oslo, ended up uncovering a large shipment of pot and heroin. Five suspects are in custody.

– He used his “undercover policeman eye” and discovered something which he perceived as a typical handover of something – in an IKEA bag,  police inspector Einar Aas, who is head of the section for organized crime, told Aftenposten.

The policeman is working at the department of special operations, and he recognized at least one of those involved in the handover.

– He went into action, and it turned out that there were 17 kilograms of pot in the IKEA bag, says Aas.

Further investigation also revealed one kg of heroin and one kilogram of marijuana, and three people have been arrested in addition to the two who were involved in the handover.
