66% of voters believe Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Høyre (H) does a good job as a party leader, according to a new survey. Jonas Gahr Støre of Arbeiderpartiet (Ap) is far behind.

In a survey by Ipsos for Dagbladet newspaper, the voters were asked if they think the party leaders are doing a good, medium or bad job for their party.

In second place, Senterpartiet (Sp) leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum received 47% of the vote who thought he is doing a good job. Bjørnar Moxnes (Rødt),Siv Jensen of Fremskrittsparti (Frp), Knut Arild Hareide of Kristelig Folkeparti (KrF) and Audun Lysbakken of Sosialistisk Venstreparti (SV) followed.

Only 21% believe left-winger Trine Skei Grande does a great job.

The same figure applies to Ap-leader, Gahr Støre.

‘’As everyone knows, Ap is in a very difficult situation. They are bothered by internal conflicts, have dealt with a big ‘Metoo case,’ and they have had difficulty getting their policies on the agenda,”said research scientist, Johannes Bergh.

At the bottom of the poll measurement, was the new Miljøpartiet De Grønne (MDG-Green) leader, Une Bastholm. 12% of voters believed she does a good job.
