Princess Martha Louise admits she has mixed feelings before she makes a comeback as a show jumper in the Oslo Horse Show on Saturday.
The show celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special comeback class where the princess joins three other former top riders. They will have an informal competition with four of today’s top riders.
– I’m really nervous, admitted a laughing princess at a press conference on Thursday.
It has been 16 years since Martha Louise retired from show jumping, and she says that she started training a bit again three weeks ago ahead of Saturday’s outing.
The horse she uses during Saturday’s competition, she has borrowed and only ridden once before.
She says that the children are doing pony rides, and they have three ponies.
The children will also attend the event. They will participate in an exhibition in voltige – one stroke acrobatics on horseback and the show Sunday afternoon.
