The prosecutor asked for three years imprisonment for the engineer charged with calling for terrorism and training.

The trial is underway in Asker and Bærum District Court. The man has denied a sentence of punishment and his defence lawyer, Brynjar Meling, told NTB news on Wednesday that there is a will to demand full blame for his client.

Attorney General, Fredrik G. Ranke, filed a three-year prison sentence on Wednesday afternoon for the 51-year-old man.

He was at work at Aker Solutions at Fornebu when PST appeared at the office in May
2015 and arrested him.

He charged for sharing a bomb recipe, urged for other readers to threaten Syrian helicopter pilots and their families, as well as urging to torture and kill a Jordanian pilot who had been captured by ISIS (IS).

Under his explanation in court, the man did not hide the fact that he supported IS on the web, but said that this was to “market” himself against the extremist group.

‘’I wanted to be invited by one of the leaders in IS.Then I could go to them and

I could fight them from within. I would become a cancer cell in their body, which would eventually kill the whole body.’’
