Police Security Service (PST) ‘upgraded the intelligence work” in Norway after the terror in Paris in November. Now they are following  all events in the Norwegian asylum centers closely.

Head of PST Benedicte Bjørnland says to the newspaper Klassekampen  that they initiated a “national intelligence operation”  after the Paris-terror. This means that PST is  watching the around 26,000 people who live on Norwegian asylum centers today closely.
– We have some reports that radicalizing activities are taking place at the reception centers,  Bjørnland says .
The PST head also points out that people from all the parties of the civil war in Syria have come to Norway and that this can lead to conflicts.
– We have reason to believe that there are people in Norwegian reception centers with blood on their hands, she says.
Bjørnland is also concerned about the aftermath of last year’s influx of refugees.
– It goes without saying that when  so many people  arrived in such a short time last year, there was not the capacity to make a good and detailed record of all the people who came , she says and pinpoints unaccompanied minors as a vulnerable group.
– We must be aware that an extraordinary high migration to Norway over time can cause a variety of problems and give rise to conflicts, the PST boss  says to the newspaper.
Last year 31,145 persons applied for asylum in Norway, the highest number in Norwegian history. About 5,000 of these stated that they were unaccompanied minors.
