Record on having the Warmest December

More Temperature records for December are falling one by one.

In Svelvik at Vestfold the temperature was measured at 14.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday afternoon.
It is a new record for Vestfold, which listed 13.3 degrees in Tonsberg in 2nd day of Christmas five years ago, according to Adresseavisen. So now, that record turned.

In Bø at Telemark similar happened when 126 years old record was broken by measuring the temperature at 13.5 degrees Celsius there.

The old record was on 1st of December 1890 at Dalen in Telemark, according to the Meteorological Institute.

Østfold County on Thursday measured 13 degrees in Rygge – Huggenes, which is 0.3 degrees more than the 12.7 measured on Gullholmen measured on 2nd day of Christmas in 2011.

In Aust-Agder was also set a record when it was measured 14 degrees on Lyngør lighthouse, compared with 13.8 degrees in Landvik 2nd of December 1967.

According weather analyst Bernt Lie, the winds blowing from westerly mountains have contributed to the new heat records.

Website for weather and wind, reports that in the metropolitan area temperatures have been reaching near 13 degrees and that in Hordaland has been measured as 13.8 degrees on Ullensvang experimental farm in Hardanger.
