Relatives of the victims of the helicopter accidents and other people affected by the accident threw flowers into the water for those who perished when they visited the place where the helicopter crashed at Turøy in Hordaland. NCIS hope to release the names of the victims on Sunday.
On Sunday the relatives were brought by boat to the site where the helicopter crashed on Friday. Some chose to throw down roses at sea in honor of their loved ones, according to Bergens Tidende.
Among the other people present on the ferry “Fjord Cat” were representatives from the police and Statoil.
In addition to getting to see the accident site the relatives and survivors got information about rescue efforts and the ongoing work on Turøy, that includes a thorough search of the debris.
