Soldiers in the Philippines have found more remains after a Canadian who was killed by Abu Sayyaf guerrillas while being held hostage along with the Norwegian Kjartan Sekkingstad.

The remains of Robert Hall were found buried near a village in the province of Sulu, said a spokesman for the Philippine military.

The Canadian man’s head was found last month. The extremist Islamist guerrillas Abu Sayyaf had demanded ransom for Hall, Canada’s John Ridsdel, Philippine’s Marites Flor and Norway’s Kjartan Sekkingstad after they were captured last year.

Ridsdel was also killed by captors. Flor was released, while Sekkingstad is still being held captive.
