Prosecutors added the claim for 21 years in prison for the couple who are accused of having ordered the killing of son in-law, his brother, and his father in Pakistan in 2013.
Prosecutor believes that the man’s brother should be sentenced to 19 years in prison. It is two years more severe punishment than what court sentenced the man last year.
The jury found the couple guilty last week in the Court of Appeal.
In December last year the couple were sentenced to 21 years in prison in Oslo District Court, while the man’s brother was sentenced to 17 years in prison.
The three (The couple and the brother of the husband) were convicted of premeditated murder and all three appealed on site. The couple appealed against conviction and brother appealed against sentencing.
