Conservatives party has changed their mind and is asking for begging ban in Oslo but the proposal is probably depressed.

Three years ago Labor party asked to introduce begging ban zone within Ring 2 in Oslo which was defeated by the Conservatives. Now Oslo Right party submitted the proposal against beggary but being vetoed by Labor that no longer wants the ban, write newspaper Aftenposten.
– A begging ban would make it less attractive to come to Oslo and therefore cause many of the problems that come with visiting homeless becomes smaller, says Eirik Lae Solberg to the news.
Right Party voted against Aps proposal for making the begging ban zone within Ring 2 in 2013.
– We wanted to postpone it because it would have resulted in a ban at the city but then it was not any of these because neither Labor nor the Centre Party supported it in Parliament, says Solberg.
The parties went anyway in a direction to give municipalities the right to introduce begging ban by themselves.
