King Harald was impressed with the venue and the decoration at a visit to an ice hotel in Alta. On Tuesday he will attend an academic conference on wild salmon.
The King visited the Ice Hotel Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel in Alta Monday night.
– This was really nice. They have done a good job here, the king said when he left the icy hotel, writes Altaposten.
The tour continues to “Wild salmon in the north – with an international perspective,” where the king will attend the first day of the conference. The Minister of Fisheries Per Sandberg (FRP), Climate and Environment Minister Vidar Helgesen (H), the Sameting( Sami thing) President Aili Keskitalo and Liberal leader Trine Skei Grande will also attend the conference.
