Friday morning, the search resumed for the 25 year old woman in Moss who has been missing since Wednesday evening.

‘The search stopped at 2 o’clock in the morning, but we will carry on with the same strength at 9 o’clock on Friday morning’ said operation officer Tom Sandberg to the Eastern Police District news agency NTB.

The woman disappeared at some time between at 21.30 on Wednesday night and at 14.00 on Thursday while she was visiting her family on Tronvik Jeløya.

Police say that there is no trace of her.

‘We have no special leads to follow; she just walked out of the house and has not been seen since. It is completely unclear why she’s gone. We are now using investigators to work on identifying the woman’s background’, says Sandberg.

‘During daylight, we’ll go through the same area we went through yesterday and last night, and we will expand the search area somewhat. The area is partly rough, uncultivated ground’, said the Operations Officer.

According to the police, the woman is 176 centimeters tall. She has short brown hair and blue eyes, and a tattoo on her upper left arm; she was probably thinly dressed. She is wearing pink and red sneakers.

Forces from the police, Red Cross, Norwegian Rescue Dogs, and helicopters are participating in the search.
