Served over 850 million on refugees

Hero Norway, which operates a number of reception centers, served whole NOK 852 million on refugees last year and thereby secured record profits, writes Manager.

The net profit after tax was NOK 44 million, which means a profit of just over 3.6 million a month. Most of the money comes from the public.
– The need for reception centers varies from year to year, and from summer 2015 increased arrivals dramatically in Norway. Several departments were temporary and many were so-called emergency of short duration, type board of Hero in its annual report.
Hero is today Scandinavia’s largest reception operator and has dozens reception in Norway and Sweden. The company is backed billionaire brothers Roger and Kristian Adolfsen, which acquired a majority stake in 2014.
But monetary party could soon be over. After a dramatic decline in the number of asylum-seekers have Immigration announced that reception capacity should be downsized by one third during the summer. If the decline continues, the number of seats will be reduced further.
