The police at Majorstuen in Oslo have arrested seven people aged between 15 to 21 years. The seven are charged with robbing a number of youngsters on the west side of Oslo.

During a period of just a few weeks this fall, a number of people have been exposed to violence, threats and robbery in a smaller geographical area on the west part of Oslo, reports NRK. On October 18, seven people were arrested and charged with the cases.

Prosecutor Arne Valdemar Nielsen confirms to NRK that both perpetrators and the victims of the case are young people.

“We have had a round of arrests, and have conducted more interrogations. We have arrested and charged seven people on different charges. Those arrested in the case are aged between 15 to 21 years old. The victims in the case, as well, are young and in the same age group as those arrested,” says Nielsen.

The police attorney says that they tie the seven perpetrators to at least seven different cases. According to the police, several robberies have been committed near metro stations and communications points on Oslo’s west side.
