Asylum seekers in Vadso say that ten to fifteen people left the reception center Monday night because they feared being deported by the police.
In addition,   several asylum seekers from Oscarsgate reception center in Vadso disappeared on Sunday night, according to NRK.
They, about 10-15 people left,  because they heard that the police would come to the reception center and because they were afraid. We have not slept well these months, for we believe the police can come and take us away at any time, says an applicant in the reception center of the channel.
This weekend around 70 people were brought from various reception centers in the country to the Arrival Center Finnmark in South-Varanger after it became clear that rejected asylum seekers  may be returned to Russia by bus, according to NRK.
On Monday law firm Andersen & Bache-Wiig sent  an express letter to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in which they ask for a halt in the planned deportation of asylum seekers to Russia. The reason is that lawyers think the asylum seekers are not given adequate opportunity to appeal the decision, according to TV2.
Advokat Halvor Frihagen is hoping they will get the answer on Tuesday but had not heard anything from the court when NTB spoke to him Tuesday morning.
