After the new regulations came into place in 2013, getting several NGOs receive revenue from lottery and bingo.
– For us this is great. Before we had to take high deductibles for events and glibly both three and four times when we did request to send members to courses or other things, says Tom Atle Steffensen, head of the National Association for spinal cord injury in the college (LARS), to NRK news.
In 2013 came the new regulations, which all organizations that received support through ExtraFoundation had to be approved by the Gaming Board.
Figures from the Gaming Board show that the number of applications have increased and that the rejections are fewer after the rule changed. In 2012 the gaming board received 215 applications, of which 95 were rejected. By comparison, in 2014 in 267 applications were made, only 61 were rejected.
