Sola Airport was the first place that has measured over 25 degrees this year. Sogn og Fjordane, Møre og Romsdal and Sør-Trøndelag were other counties that had temperatures of more than 20 degrees in the first weekend with summer temperatures in large parts of Norway.

The thermometer measured a temperature of 25.4 degrees at the maximum at Sola Airport in Rogaland on Sunday afternoon, according to the Meteorological Institute.
In Bergen, Stord Airport and at Haugesund Airport the temperatures were measured to be over 24 degrees. The hotspot of the capital was Bygdøy, where the thermometer measured 23.4 degrees.
Meteorologists define summer days in Scandinavia as days with a maximum temperature of more than 20 degrees.  On Saturday  summer temperatures was measured in ten counties, and Sunday was also summery in Sogn og Fjordane, Møre og Romsdal and Sør-Trøndelag.
Although fair weather has been forecast in the coming week, the temperatures will probably not be quite as high as they were this weekend.
– The nice weather will continue until the end of Tuesday. Then the low pressure areas will weaken a bit, and the weather will become more unstable. It is too early to say what the weather will be like on 17 May,  state meteorologist Rafael Grote said to the news agency NTB on Saturday.
