Norway has managed to safeguard democracy after July 22nd but it has not been good enough to take the fight against extremism, said Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
Norway’s response to July 22nd would be more democracy and more openness but never naivety.
– I think we have managed to stand united in protection of democracy, said Prime Minister Erna Solberg to news agency NTB but she believes despite the many good initiatives in Norway Municipalities we have not been good enough to take the fight against extremism.
– It went a little out of focus point for a while afterwards and we have seen more extreme attitudes in connection with the migration wave and terror in other countries. In that way we have been a little naive, mentioned by the Prime Minister.
