We must never give up the fight against terror, says NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg after Brussels-attack.
This is a bleak day in Brussels. It is an attack on the values we represent, the NATO commander says to the news agency NTB after Brussels suffered three explosions Tuesday.
Over 30 people were killed in attacks in the city’s airport and a subway downtown.
– No society is completely protected against terrorist attacks. The attacks today are a brutal reminder of this, Stoltenberg says.
– But we can fight terrorism, and we can combat the fear that terrorism wants to create. And we can fight back against those who are responsible for the attacks, he said.
