Around 70,000 users have downloaded the quota app that the Customs Administration launched in late June. To date, 1,200 people have used it to declare goods for a total of 300,000 kroner.
Adviser Tor Gunnar Saakvitne in the Customs Directorate said in a statement that they are very satisfied with the results.
The app shows what is free quota and how much alcohol and tobacco you can optionally declare.
One can also use the app to pay if the quota is exceeded.
