From next week, the Chinese Embassy will require fingerprints from anyone who wants a visa to China. Everyone between the ages of 14 and 70 must give fingerprints.

The Embassy reports on its websites that fingerprints will be taken from all fingers and that the prints will be stored for five years according to international law.

If you travel to China repeatedly during these five years, you will not be required to issue new prints if you do not change passports in the meantime.

The only exception is people who have lost all their fingers or do not have ten fingers, as well as children under 14 and people over 70 years.

Fingerprint requirements will be introduced from next Monday.
