The court case against the man charged with threats towards Hadia Tajik has been postponed

The trial of a 62 year-p old man charged with hate speech against the Labour Party’s Hadia Taji is postponed due to illness.

The comments the 62-year-old wrote on Facebook in September last year are what resulted in him being charged. Where he wrote coarse words against Tajik and wrote that he thinks she should end up in the guillotine.

Tajik did not report the incident herself. It was the police who filed the case.

On Tuesday morning, however, Inntrøndelag District Court states that the case must be postponed, reports NRK.

Three hours were set aside to process the case.
