The Government will provide the unemployed with more targeted assistance

 Three minister acknowledge that people who have been left outside the labor market may struggle with  assistance measures that are rigid or not targeted enough. Now they want to remove the obstacles.
The ministers call it outsiderness. It’s to do with people who for one reason or another are unable to enter the labor market. Young people who drop out of school, immigrants who have no knowledge of Norwegian and adults who have a weak knowledge base.
According to the OECD have more than 400,000 adults in this country poor basic skills, ie they struggle with reading, writing and arithmetic.
