Three men arrested after stabbing in Haugesund

Three men have been arrested after a man in his 30s was beaten up and stabbed in a residential area of Haugesund Friday night.
The man was stabbed in the back in his own home, but his injuries are not life-threatening,  the police said. The three arrested are suspected of bodily injury and stabbing and will be questioned on Saturday.
According to the TV channel TV 2, the  police was first notified at 0:06 Friday night. Eventually the injured himself called and explained that he had been stabbed. He has been sent to Haugesund hospital.
Police sent  armed units, who arrested  three men in two different places. Two of them are from Poland and their 30s, the third man i Norwegian and  in his mid-20s, according to NRK.
– These are names familiar to use,  operations leader Jarle Utne-Reitan in South Western Police District said.
Police said they have information that indicates that jealousy may be the main reason for the incident.
On Saturday morning the police started to interrogate the three culprits. The aggrieved party will also testify to the police. His residence will also be investigated by the police this morning.
