26 flights to and from Bergen Airport are canceled  due to the extreme weather Tor Friday afternoon and evening.

Including six departures to and six arrivals from Oslo which is canceled. The other canceled flights  were supposed to have gone to and from Ålesund, Kristiansund, Stavanger, Notodden, Aberdeen, Amsterdam and Copenhagen, according to Avinor.

State Meteorologist Linda Kleppe says to the local newspaper Bergens Tidende that they forecast strong storm force winds at the airport. According to NRK, SAS has chosen to put extra fuel on planes going to the west coast, because the wind can create difficult landing conditions.
