The meteorologists have issued a warning that there may be heavy rainfall in Eastern Norway on Friday and Saturday.

Heavy rain rains can lead to local floods, flash flooding and/or landslides.

It is currently unclear where the most powerful precipitation will hit, but there may be between 15 and 25 millimeters of precipitation in one hour, Yr reports. There can also be thunder.

– “There will be rainfall over several hours, but at its most intense there can fall 25 millimeters of rain in an hour. It could be so powerful that it may pose problems drivers and pedestrians,” says Geir Ottar Fagerlid, State Meteorologist.
