Two cars and a tram involved in traffic accident in Oslo

Two cars and a tram have been involved in a traffic accident at Olaf Rye’s place in Oslo. Two people have been brought away from the site by ambulance.

 

– We work on site and have not yet received any report on the cause of the event. Two persons have been brought by ambulance to hospital or the emergency room, so we may assume that they have suffered some lind of bodily injury, says Operations Manager, Magne Olsvoll, to NTB.

The police reported about the incident on Twitter at 11:30 pm CST.

Olsvoll says it is unknown whether the injured were drivers or passengers in the cars or on the tram.

Man brought to hospital after traffic accident with stolen car

A man in his forties has been brought to hospital with minor injuries after hitting a stationary car in Tønsberg. The car he drove was reported stolen according to the police.

– It is a stolen car, and we’ll see what’s happens, whether it’s going to be made an arrest or not. As far as we know, he was alone in the car, but that is not certain, says Head of Operation in the Southeast Police District, Øystein Eikedalen, to NTB.

The man was concious when the police arrived at the scene and talked to them before being brought to Tønsberg Hospital.

– The accident happened in Ringshaugveien, and we have been in contact with the owner of the car, who lives in the neighborhood, says Eikedalen.

The police were notified of the incident at 5 am on Wednesday.
