Twelve-year-old bought LSD in Stavanger city centre

On Saturday night, the police in Stavanger reported that a twelve-year-old girl had been taken care of by health personnel after she had received the ‘psychedelic’ drug, LSD.

The police reported their finding to the parents of the girl. The police are now working to find out who sold the drug to the elementary school girl” reported Stavanger Aftenblad newspaper.

Police officer Kathrine Sæland Rotseth, head of the drug-prevention section in Stavanger, told the newspaper that the girl had bought the substance in Stavanger city centre.

“It is obviously very worrying when such a young girl takes LSD. Now the police are working to find out who she bought the drug from’’ said Rotseth.

Rotseth is also worried that LSD appears to be a trend in youth environments. A short time ago, the police arrested a 17-year-old with 180 user doses of LSD in Stavanger.

She says they will conduct an enquiry, questioning the 12-year-old.
