Police calls for two cyclists who have remained at the scene when a woman in their 50s been raped close by Sjøsanden camping in Mandal on Saturday night.

Having received several tips and had several witnesses for questioning but police still have no suspects in the case, written Fædrelandsvennen.

The two riders are clamoring as they may have significant information about the incident.
– They cyclists arrived in the period from 02:00 to 02:30 O’clock on Saturday night and we have reason to believe that they may have information that could shed light on this serious matter, said Police Manager on Mandal police, Leif Vagle, in a press conference in Agder Police District.

The woman was on a path to Sjøsanden camping when the incident occurred and was sent to the rape reception after the event.

On Sunday evening she was questioned by police but what has been discussed during interrogation with police will not yet being disclose.

Police have secured slots at the scene and on Sunday evening found purse to the woman who allegedly assaulted, raped and robbed.

– It is also interesting for us to get in touch with people who have been in the area Furulunden and at the swimming pool where we found the purse in the time before and after the incident, said Vagle.
