Two men in their 40s have been hospitalized due to their injuries after being robbed and beaten in the center of Porsgrunn. No-one has been arrested.

‘They’ve received injuries to the head, cuts and bullet wounds. They were pretty groggy, and remember little of what happened’, said operations manager, Vidar Aaltvedt, of the South-East police.

The police were notified of a crime having been committed at 02:21 on Thursday night. The incident occurred in Bjørntvedt, on the outskirts of Porsgrunn center.

Now police are looking for two perpetrators in their 30s, with a foreign appearance. They had good spoken Norwegian, and fled from the scene in a car.

‘The two who were injured were so dazed and beaten, they only managed to provide a limited description of the perpetrators’, said Aaltvedt to NRK news.

Police believe the victims and perpetrators met at a club in Porsgrunn.

‘We questioned witnesses there, both staff and guests’, said the operations leader.
