Only half of the respondents  in a survey believe that organic food is healthier than other foods.

A sample of 1,000 people participated in the survey newspaper Nationen has completed. 39 percent of participants responded that organic food is healthier than other food, while 30 percent said it’s the opposite. Meanwhile  22 percent answered that it is just as healthy, and nine percent said they did not know.

The CEO of the organic food organization Oikos – Organic Norway, Regine Andersen, says a report from the Scientific Committee for Food (VKM) 2014 found that there are more beneficial vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids in organic food than any other food, but believes the media chose to interpret the report differently because the data was not sufficient.

Professor Birger Svihus at Norwegian University of Life Sciences at VKM concluded that there is no difference in the healthiness of organic and conventional foods.
Professor Thor Øivind Jensen at the University of Bergen does not agree with the professor and say there is a clear difference, but that to find it, you have to  consider the details of the positive minerals, trace elements and vitamins and negative residues of toxins.
