Two people died when a micro plane failed in Meløy municipality in Nordland.
The plane was found by a F-16 fighter plane after a major search on Tuesday night.
“The plane was found approximately 17 kilometres east of Glomfjord,” said Frode Iversen, chief executive officer in Northern Norway, to NTB at 02.00.
He stated that relatives had been notified.
“The victims were two men living in Nordland in their 30s and 50s,” said operations manager, Fred Leirvik of the Nordland police district to NTB news.
The light plane was reported missing at 22.12 on Tuesday night after it was searching for reindeer at Saltfjellet that morning.
