Two taken for several crimes after theft

Two men were arrested for stealing shoes in Oslo, police found other loot and drugs on them as well.

The two men are in their 20s and come from Porsgrunn in Moss, newspaper Aftenposten wrote. They were caught by security guards in a shoe shop in Karl Johan on Saturday. Police arrived at the scene at 6:15pm, and they found out that the men also had a knife, large quantities of perfume that were reported stolen in a shop near there the day before, and cash.

– We have not gotten information about exactly how much they had in cash, but the patrol said there was talk of “many thousands of kroner”, says operations manager Rune Ullsand of the Oslo police.
When they were taken in for questioning, police also took about 1.5 kilograms of hashish.
