Norwegians going to France during the European Football Championship should take certain precautions, especially in Paris, advises the Foreign Ministry.
“Caution should be exercised, particularly in large cities and especially in Paris, public transport, tourist attractions, and major human gatherings. Advice from police and local authorities should be followed. Otherwise, one must keep abreast of developments via the media,” said the Foreign Ministry said.
The Ministry adds that ‘Norwegian authorities do not usually offer issue warnings about travel abroad.’
Tuesday, Britian warned Britons who intend to France during the European Football Championship about the potential danger by stadium construction and transportation vessels.
Both French and American authorities have previously made similar warnings.
