Violent Norwegian Pakistani faces charges

A Norwegian Pakistani who a police officer described as a key figure in Oslo’s criminal environment has been charged with over ten offences, including violence and threats.

 

The 34-year-old former Young Guns member is charged with serious violence against two people, threats to a number of people, including a police officer, as well as gross fraud and illegal possession of weapons wrote Aftenposten newspaper. The man has pled not guilty to the charges.

When the man was detained in June, the Oslo police described him as a key figure in the capital’s criminal environments.

According to Aftenposten’s sources in the charged youth environment in Groruddalen in Oslo, the 34-year-old had about 50 runners in Vestli. His defence lawyer, Trygve Staff, did not want to comment on the newspaper’s information.

The Norwegian Pakistani was a Young Guns member in 2015 but ended up in conflict with others in the criminal gang. This summer, he had been depicted with one of the top members in the MC club, Satudarah, wrote Aftenposten.

The 34-year-old is one of four men charged in the case, which starts in Oslo District Court on the 10th of December.
