Twice in the same day, an obviously intoxicated woman caught drunk while driving in Østerås in Bærum on Saturday.
The first time the 53 years old woman was stopped by police was 12 o’clock. She was then taken to the police station in Sandvika, writes Budstikka.
– We went out and encountered the woman in the car. It turned out that she was drunk, probably well beyond what is legally, says operations manager Øystein Skogmo from police station in Asker and Bærum.
After taking evidence the woman got home, but apparently she had not gotten the lesson police counted. In 16 o’clock, she was stopped again, also in Østerås and police said probably by about 2 parts per thousand.
– The woman was then still drunk and ran into custody. She is now imposed bans on use of the vehicle, which is towed. The signs are turned off and vehicle registration revoked, said operations manager Tora Jordan.
