Cecilia Brækhus went on the weight and got a measure of 66.6 kg during the weigh before Saturday’s World Cup match in boxing.

Her French opponent, Anne Sophie Mathis (66.3), was 0.3 kilos lighter.

The World Cup match on Saturday night is one in welterweight and Cecilia Brækhus put their belts from the federations WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF and WPB at stake.

The match will be the second professional boxing match on Norwegian soil since the ban was introduced in 1981. In the first match, Kevin Melhus will be fighting against the German Christian Dulza. The Norwegian weighed in at 89.1 kg against the German’s 84.5 kg.

The ban was lifted in 2014, and this year it was decided that there would be changes to the so-called knock-law so that a professional match in Norway can be carried out.
