Kilde wins super-G Cup, with Norwegians also in second and third place

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde won the World Cup  in men’s Super-G  in alpine skiing, after coming second  in the very last race on Thursday. Last autumn, he was dreaming of a place among the top-10.
He shared second place in St. Moritz with Kjetil Jansrud. The duo 10/100 behind the winner, the home favorite Beat Feuz. There were lots of wild Norwegian cheers by the finish line .
– This is completely unreal. I really just tried giving it my all. I thought I had blown it when I made a mistake down the trail, said Source NRK.
– Before the season was my goal to reach the top ten in the world in super G. It is absolutely crazy to be here.
Kilde will conclude his season with giant slalom on Saturday.

– This shows that we are doing a good job. It’s extreme. What a day for Norway. Aleksander really deserved to win. I’m super happy on his behalf,  Jansrud said to NRK.
Norwegians also were in second and third place. Aksel Lund Svindal took third place despite being damaged in parts of the season.
The accident happened Hinterstoder in late February. Kilde also had one victory from a  downhill  competition(Garmisch-Partenkirchen) in January.
The Norwegian ski guys have 19 victories so far this winter.
