Larvik handball girls are through to the quarter finals of the Champions League after they beat FTC Budapest 37-31 Saturday.

Nora Mørk was the top scorer with ten goals, while goalkeeper Alma Hasanic was named woman of the match.
– Those who believe it’s easy to advance to the quarterfinals of the Champions League are wrong. There’s a lot of work behind this,  Frode Kyvåg said to Viasat 4.
Who Larvik will meet in the quarter finals will not be determined until next weekend when the last battle against Fleury played in France, but no matter what happens , the team is on to the quarterfinals.
With victory in the final round they may be certain of ending up at second place in the group, which increases the likelihood of not having to face strong Buducnost and Gyor. Russian Rostov-Don, the team of the goalkeeper of Norway Katrine Lunde, has already won the Larvik group.
Larvik led 20-15 at half time Saturday. The first quarter was even, until the home team went from 9-9 to 13-9 in five minutes and then increased the lead further.
The Norwegian league leaders continued in that vein after the break lead by top scorer Nora Mørk and finally won the match by six goals
